The Seven Virtues of Bushido.
Discipline is not a feeling. Honor is not a slogan. These are the seven virtues every Kami No Ken student lives by — in training, in life, in silence.
Integrity
The decision to do what is right without consideration of cost. Not what is easy. Not what is convenient. What is right.
Courage
Fear is not the absence of courage. Courage is action despite fear. We don't train to feel less fear. We train to act anyway.
Compassion
Strength without compassion becomes cruelty. Compassion without strength becomes weakness. Both together: leadership.
Respect
Respect begins with self-respect. If you don't respect yourself, no one else will. And no one should have to.
Honesty
Honesty with self before honesty with others. The lies you tell yourself are heavier than any lie spoken aloud.
Honor
Honor is who you are when no one is watching. When there is no reward. When the cost is real and the witness is only your own conscience.
Loyalty
Loyalty proven in absence, not in presence. Anyone is loyal when it serves them. Loyalty is the code that holds when it costs.
